A note about UTOPIES and sustainability.

 Everyone has a footprint. We're trying to make ours smaller.

We take this seriously — not as a slogan, but as arithmetic. Every little bit counts, but you have to zoom out to see where the bits actually live.

Turns out the biggest one was sitting right there in your hand. Glass. Something like half a winery's carbon footprint, hiding in plain sight, dressed up as class.

There's an old habit of thinking that weight equals worth — that a heavy bottle means a serious wine. We didn't buy it. We found the lightest bottle on the market that still keeps its punt and its Burgundy curve, and let the wine do the talking instead of the glass.

Less glass. Less carbon. Same wine.

Our labels carry 30% recycled material too. Not a grand plan. Just another small bit, added to the pile.

No trophies for any of this. Just fewer emissions, one bottle at a time.
